Hawkhurst's new website is for people who visit, live or work in and around the village.  It has been launched by the Hawkhurst Community Partnership (HCP), a non profit making organisation.

 

This is the official village website and one of a number of projects made possible with funding from the South East of England Development Agency (SEEDA) via Kent Rural Towns and with the support of other partners.  HCP has matched the SEEDA funding to enable it to provide the website and other projects totalling £200,000 over three years for the benefit of local businesses and residents.

 

The website has three main areas - Visitors, Businesses and the Community - and will offer a wealth of local information on shops, services, activities and events.  Every local business will be entitled to a free entry on the site.

 

The Hawkhurst Community Partnership has appointed Marcomm, a local agency, to handle the marketing of the new site.  Marcomm may contact you direct to see if you want to take out any further advertising on the site, for a small charge.  Proceeds from advertising will be split between Marcomm and HCP who will use any funds to maintain the site.
